Fun Fact: The Museum of Fine Arts in Washington County is known to have one of the finest small museums in the United States. The museum strives to collect, preserve, interpret, and exhibit art for the citizens of Washington County and surrounding area.
Established in 1931 by Anna Brugh Singer and her husband William H. Singer, Jr. the couple wanted to create a space to bring art of lasting quality for the citizens of Hagerstown, Washington County, and the surrounding region.
