Amanda Grosskrueger has joined the MACo team as Member Services and Events Coordinator, and will lead member engagement and affiliate-focused events efforts.

Amanda joins MACo after serving as a middle school teacher focusing on history for more than a decade. During her time as an educator, Amanda honed her skills in leadership, collaboration, information-sharing, and event-planning through various successful projects and initiatives serving her school communities. In looking for a career shift, she applied with MACo, recognizing the opportunity to continue her career in public service in a different way.

In this role, Amanda will work closely with MACo’s affiliate members, driving engagement and planning affiliate events and activities. She will also serve as liaison to and coordinator for MACo’s Legislative Committee, which determines MACo’s policy positions in Annapolis.

“We are beyond thrilled to add Amanda to our team,” said Executive Director Michael Sanderson. “Member service and engagement is extremely important for an organization like MACo – the more members we hear from, the louder we can be as their ‘voice’ in Annapolis and statewide.
