County Health Department looking to increase opportunities for everyone to achieve their best health.
The Anne Arundel(AA) Health Equity forums are an initiative of the AA Health Department’s Health Equity and Racial Justice Division. The ongoing work of this department was previously recognized as the 2020 winner of the MACo County Innovation Award. While the forums have already begun, more will be held at 3pm on the fourth Monday of every month through November of this year.
According to the website, discussions will bring together health equity champions who live, work, play, worship, or learn in Anne Arundel County. As specified, the major focuses of the forums are information-sharing, idea exchange, and meaningful conversations about social drivers of health and efforts to unlock opportunity for everyone to achieve their best health. Registration is open online for the 7 remaining forums for 2023.
