MACo congratulates Natasha Mehu, who after nearly seven years with MACo will pursue exciting new professional opportunities.

A visible and outgoing leader of MACo’s ever-present policy team, Natasha Mehu will be leaving this month to pursue other professional opportunities.

Ms. Mehu has led MACo’s policy team as Legislative Director, and has worked most closely with the Maryland Association of County Health Officers, the Maryland Correctional Administrators Association, and most recently MACo’s County Administrators affiliate organization.

She also recently served as a member the Claims Committee for the Local Government Insurance Trust, and covered legal and liability issues for MACo before the General Assembly.

“Natasha has been a terrific partner, ally, and friend,” said Executive Director Michael Sanderson. “She has delivered for counties on a long list of issues, and represented our interests professionally and effectively.”
