Comptroller to Hold Briefing on Initial Fiscal Impacts of COVID-19 Pandemic

Comptroller Peter Franchot will be hosting a virtual press briefing tomorrow, Friday, April 10, to discuss the initial fiscal impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on Maryland’s economy.

Bureau of Revenue Estimates Director Andrew Schaufele will deliver an adjusted revenue forecast for FY 2020 that will inform fiscal leaders as to what budget actions may be needed.

The briefing will begin at 11 a.m. and can be viewed on the Comptroller of Maryland Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/ComptrollerofMaryland).
