The Local Government Insurance Trust (LGIT) will hold its annual meeting, titled “Providing the Tools for Success,” on October 31 in Annapolis – sessions will cover the Public Information Act, leadership, cybersecurity, and marijuana in the workplace.
The Academy for Excellence in Local Governance Core Course on the Public Information Act will be offered, along with an Academy Elective Course focusing on medical marijuana in the workplace. Academy Fellows can earn credit toward their certificate by attending these courses and completing the evaluation forms.
Roundtable discussions on cybersecurity and member-driven leadership will be offered after the business meeting. Awards will be presented over lunch. View the full agenda.
