The rate of fatal opioid overdoses in Anne Arundel County has declined in comparison to this time last year. From WBAL:
As of the first week of April, the county is seeing a nearly 25% decrease in the number of total overdoses so far in 2019, compared to the same period in 2018 — 234 compared to 310. And opioid overdose deaths are down as well, by 37% or 37 compared to 59.
