Iannuci Takes Helm of Prince George’s Economic Development Corp

The Board of Directors for the Prince George’s County Economic Development Corporation (EDC) have named David Iannucci to serve as the EDC’s President and CEO. Iannucci succeeds Jim Coleman who previously served in that position.

As announced in a news release:

Iannucci most recently served Prince George’s County as the Assistant Deputy Chief Administrative Officer under the Baker Administration. There, he oversaw the County’s economic development strategy and economic development organizations. This leadership role focused on business retention, prospect attraction and large development projects. Prior to his work in the County, Mr. Iannucci also served as the Executive Director for the Baltimore County Department of Economic Development, and the Secretary of the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development (now Maryland Department of Commerce) after an extensive legal career. Mr. Iannucci has stated that his focus will be business retention.
