Rural Maryland Council Call for FY19 Program Proposals

The Rural Maryland Prosperity Investment Fund (RMPIF) and the Maryland Agricultural Education and Rural Development Assistance Fund (MAERDAF) are taking proposals for programs to be funded in FY19.

The Rural Maryland Council is accepting proposal abstracts until Friday, May 25, 2018, 11:59 pm.

MAERDAF Proposal Topics

  • Agriculture
  • Energy
  • Rural Broadband
  • Rural Healthcare
  • Youth Engagement
  • Workforce/Economic Development
  • Other topics

RMPIF Proposal Topics

  • Regional Planning and Development Councils
  • Rural Entrepreneurship Development
  • Rural Health Care Organizations

All topics will be given equal consideration.

The RMC will notify applicants of their decisions on Monday, June 25, 2018. The full applications will be due July 27, 2018, and grant recipients will be announced August 13, 2018.
