The National Association of Counties, an advocacy organization that works for county government interests on the Hill, is accepting resolutions for its annual platform.
All Maryland county governments are members of NACo and all may participate in forming the organization’s policy platform.
The NACo resolutions process provides members with the ability to participate in national policy decisions affecting county governments by proposing changes to NACo’s platform or policy resolutions that, if approved, will be added to the platform for one year. Resolutions and platform changes submitted through this process will be considered during the Annual Conference by NACo’s 10 policy steering committees, the Board of Directors and the membership.
All resolutions and platform changes must be submitted electronically (preferably as a Word document) via email to email@example.com by June 21, 2017.
