A coalition of state and local government organizations has released a new fact sheet “10 Things You Should Know about Public Pension Disclosure Changes” The fact sheet explains the new GASB 68 standards as well as other pension disclosure requirements.
Integrating Millennials into the Public Sector
On March 20, SLGE Communications Manager Amber Snowden participated in a panel at the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) annual meeting in Seattle. Her presentation highlighed SLGE’s recent Workforce of the Future report and explained why it is essential that state and local governments prepare themselves to win the war for talent as they compete to attract millennials into the public sector workforce.
