The National Association of Counties (NACo) and the National Association of Development Organizations (NADO) will host a joint webinar to provide an overview of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).

On May 21, the House and Senate Leadership reached a bipartisan, bicameral agreement on workforce investment reauthorization, the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), H.R. 803 (as amended).

Learn more about the workforce compromise legislation and what it means for the local governments and workforce systems, jobseekers and businesses.  Also, learn more about the process for final passage and the likelihood it being signed into law this congressional session.
