NACo Announces March Legislative Conference

2014LegRegistration for the National Association of Counties’ Legislative Conference is now open.  The Conference will be held at the Washington Hilton from March 1-5, 2014. As described by the National Association of Counties (NACo),

The NACo Legislative Conference is held on an annual basis in Washington, DC. This meeting brings over 2,000 elected and appointed county officials from across the country to focus on legislative issues facing county government. Attendees hear from key Administration officials and members of Congress and are offered a myriad of additional educational opportunities addressing current and hot topic issues. A day of lobbying on Capitol Hill the last day rounds out an information packed Conference that is NOT to be missed.

This year’s opening session will feature Mike Allen, Chief White House Correspondent for Politico, Governor John Huntsman, and Senator Joe Manchin.  Governor Huntsman and Senator Manchin are honorary Co-Chairs of the non-partisan organization No Labels.

For more information, and to register for the Conference, see the National Association of Counties.
