Rural Maryland Council Drums Support for Investment Fund

As part of its 2014 legislative priorities, Rural Maryland Council (RMC) is requesting $6 million in funding for the Rural Maryland Prosperity Investment Fund (RMPIF) during Fiscal Year 2015.  The fund was created to direct financial resources to rural-serving small businesses and regional councils to help improve the overall standard of living in rural areas.

RMC is reaching out for support in the form of letters to be sent to both the Governor and the Lt. Governor as they prepare to draw up the Operating Budget.
