The MACo Board of Directors invites all Maryland county elected officials to nominate individuals for the fifth annual Marilyn J. Praisner Public Service Award. The Award will be presented during the MACo Winter Conference Inaugural Banquet & Awards Ceremony on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Hotel in Cambridge, MD.

This distinct honor has been established in memory of MACo Past President and former Montgomery County Council Member, Marilyn J. Praisner. Current Maryland county elected officials may nominate any living current or former Maryland county elected official to receive this award. MACo’s Awards Committee will review the nominations and will select an award recipient to be recognized for outstanding service to the county, his or her constituents, and MACo.

To be considered for this award, nominations should be completed and submitted to MACo- Attention Virginia White, no later than October 29, 2013.  Please follow the nomination instructions carefully.
