Montgomery County’s “YouTube” Channel Recognized by Government Video Magazine

On August 29, Montgomery County’s “YouTube” channel was given recognition for its “prolific and well-produced channel” by Government Video magazine.  Montgomery County’s channel can be found at: http://www.youtube.com/user/montgomerycountymd.

From Montgomery County’s press release:

According to the online salute, “Montgomery County has a busy YouTube channel with an amazing variety of videos on a wide range of topics of interest to county residents. In both Spanish and English, these videos keep residents abreast of county government functions and activities. Much of what the county has done with its YouTube channel is very recent, so online viewership has yet to catch onto the scope and quality of the channel’s videos. However, if Montgomery County continues its pace of postings, viewers will find it and be very happy when they do.”

Government Video magazine is produced by NewBay Media, which is headquartered in New York City with offices in Alexandria, VA, San Francisco, Milan, and London. The magazine can be found online at http://www.governmentvideo.com.
