The Governor’s Grants Office recently released its 2013 Annual Report of federally funded programs. Maryland state agencies secured $9.1 billion in federal grant dollars through 473 separate grant programs.
In addition to summarizing total federal grant dollars by State agency, the report provides a by county break down of the funding. Based on the most recent data, Maryland counties received over $96 million in federal grant funding for various programs in the following five grant categories: 1) procurement, 2) retirement disability, 3) other direct payments, 4) all grants, and 5) salaries.
