The National Association of Counties (NACo) will host a webinar on using telecommunications technologies to improve health care delivery and access.  The webinar will be tailored to information for county governments.  As described,

Telehealth—the use of telecommunications technologies to facilitate the provision of health care—can help counties both improve care quality and increase access to care. For example, rural counties that have few physicians or specialty care services can connect to more care providers. Telehealth can also enhance treatment options and communications in hospitals, clinics and other settings such as jails.
