The Multistate Tax Commission, which develops model state statues on various issues, including those involving local governments, will be holding public hearings on April 10, to address uniformity proposals related to lodging taxes by accommodations intermediaries (1 PM ET) , and central administration of communication transaction taxes (2 PM ET).  More information and the proposals themselves may be obtained from the Commission’s website.
