Andrea Mansfield has been named to serve as MACo’s Legislative Director, and will assume a leadership role in coordinating MACo’s advocacy and policy efforts in Annapolis.

Andrea has been with the MACo staff as Associate Director since August 2009, working on a range of policy areas including budget and fiscal matters, transportation, and health and human services. Prior to working with MACo, she served as Assistant Secretary, Finance Policy, with the Maryland Higher Education Commission, and has also worked in Annapolis for the Department of Budget and Management and the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation.

In her role as Legislative Director, Andrea will coordinate MACo’s legislative initiative process, bill tracking systems, and testimony delivery.
