Public Private Partnerships can enhance county services while building relationships with private stakeholders – all while enabling a positive impact on your budget’s bottom line. Attend this MACo sponsored event to hear about successful Maryland county partnerships, and how they might translate to new ideas for your jurisdiction. The event will conclude with a roundtable discussion in which all attendees are invited to participate. Come ask your questions about how to implement a Public Private Partnership, discuss successes and pitfalls in past projects, and learn how your county can think outside of the box to design and benefit from your own Public Private Partnership.
Partnership Presentations:
Talbot County: Community Center Solar Array
Montgomery County: Development Through Partnerships
Baltimore City: Downtown Redevelopment and Public Building Partnerships
Workforce Development: Continuing Education Partnerships
The presentations will be followed by a discussion among attendees and a complimentary luncheon. The Luncheon speaker is Blaine R. Young, Frederick County Commission President
