Montgomery County Receives 2010 NACo Achievement Award

The Montgomery County Department of Liquor Control (DLC)  was awarded the 2010 NACo Achievement Award for its “Keeping It Safe (KIS)” program.  The award recognizes local jurisdictions that promote responsible and effective government. DLC Licensure, Regulation and Education Division Chief Kathie Durbin describes the program,

“The KIS program grew from a need for alcohol establishments to better understand alcohol laws and regulations. Our Outreach Office sought and acquired funding for the Keeping It Safe campaign with a goal of keeping Montgomery County alcohol-licensed businesses on track and focused on responsible service. “

Congratulations to Montgomery County for this recognition.
