Rocks State Park

The Park features 855 acres of rocky forest land. The two main attractions of the park are the King and Queen’s Seat and the Kilgore Falls. Within the park there is a 190- foot outcrop of the wooded forest which was once a gathering space for the Susquehannock Indians.  This outcrop has become known as the King and Queen’s Seat. It offers visitors a panoramic view of the lush forest.

The main section of the park includes 3.5-miles of hiking trails and access to Deer Creek.  This area is ideal for fishing, wading and tubing. Falling Branch (home to Kilgore Falls) and Hidden Valley, are the two satellite properties and are a short drive from the main park.
