Calvert County Introduces Real-Time Bus Tracking With Passio GO!

Calvert County Government has launched a new mobile app designed to make public transit more accessible, predictable, and rider-friendly.

Through the Department of Community Resources’ Transportation Division, local bus riders can now track buses in real time using the Passio GO! mobile app.

The Passio GO! app provides riders with live bus locations, estimated arrival times, and detailed route information directly from their smartphones. The app is available as a free download through both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.

With this technology upgrade, riders can view information for individual routes, schedules, and stops, helping reduce uncertainty and wait times when using local bus service. The app also allows users to set arrival alerts, save favorite routes and stops, and receive notifications about route changes or service delays—keeping passengers informed throughout their trip.

For more information about the Passio GO! app and how to use it, visit the County’s Track Your Bus webpage.

For the County, such an investment in user-friendly transit technology helps expand access to jobs, education, health care, and essential services, particularly for residents who rely on public transportation. By modernizing how riders interact with local bus service, Calvert County is enhancing mobility, reducing barriers to access, and supporting a more efficient, connected community.
