Maryland MVA Offers Counties Fleet Management Portal

The Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) is offering county governments an opportunity to apply for a fleet account and use MVA’s website to easily manage their MVA vehicle transactions. 

Counties with 10 or more fleet vehicles, can use MVA’s website to renew vehicle registrations, link new vehicle registrations after they have been titled in Maryland, and monitor deadlines for renewal registration and obtaining emissions inspections.

To apply for a new fleet account:

  • Send an email to mvamy-fl@mdot.maryland.gov  asking for an E-Services intro letter
  • Include in the email the name of the county government and current vehicle tag, title or VIN number.

Following this, a member of the Motor Carrier Services Division will send instructions to create a web logon and apply for a fleet account.

Most approvals are done within the same day but may take up to 5 days to approve.  Once approved, the county government representative will receive an account number.
