St. Mary’s Seeks Resident Input for 2025 Legislative Session

The Commissioners of St. Mary’s County (CSMC) invite residents to submit legislative proposals for consideration during the 2025 Maryland General Assembly session. This opportunity allows residents to play an active role in shaping local legislation and setting community priorities.

Submission Deadline: All proposals must be submitted by August 21, 2024.

Joint Meeting Date: The CSMC will hold a joint meeting with members of the St. Mary’s County Legislative Delegation on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 6:00 pm. This meeting will review legislative requests from the Commissioners and proposals submitted by residents and local organizations.

Meeting Information: The joint meeting will occur in the CSMC Meeting Room on the 1st floor of the Chesapeake Building at 41770 Baldridge Street in Leonardtown. Meetings are open to the public and can be viewed live on TV Channel 95 or on-demand via YouTube.
