If confirmed by Governor Wes Moore, Love will succeed former State Senator Ariana Kelly, who stepped down earlier this year when she became the executive director of the Maryland Commission for Women.

First elected to the Maryland House of Delegates in 2018, Delegate Love serves on the Environment and Transportation Committee and two of its subcommittees, the Motor Vehicle and Transportation Subcommittee, which she chairs, and the Environment Subcommittee.

She also chairs the Land Use, Transportation, and Public Safety Committee for the Montgomery County House Delegation.
