With Christmas right around the corner, there are many places around Maryland to go visit and see stunning light displays. Take a trip to another county or see what you have close to home.
Lights on the Bay at Sandy Point State Park – There are more than 60 animated and stationary displays to enjoy on a scenic drive along the Chesapeake Bay. There is a fee per vehicle.
Winter City Lights Holiday Festival – 18 acres of lights, tubing runs, concessions, bonfires, and more. This is the biggest display in the Washington D.C., Baltimore, and Virginia areas.
Winterfest of Lights – Walk through or take the trolley through the Ocean City light display. You can find light displays, Santa, and other holiday exhibits.
Sailing Through Winter Solstice – Located in downtown Frederick visitors can walk along the creek and see various boats decorated through the first week in February.
City Park Lighting in Hagerstown – Enjoy a synchronized lights and music show as you drive through the park along with a variety of free family activities.
Gaithersburg Winter Lights Festival – Enjoy 450 lighted displays as you drive through the park with their enchanted woodland setting.
Garden in Lights – In addition to the lights show, the garden offers a Holiday Market this year with shopping, music, food, drinks and so much more!
Yuletide Village – Upperco Vol. Fire Co. presents their light display again this year. Bigger than last year!
Merriweather Symphony of Lights – Light display that has been enjoyed for over 25 years in Howard County. Come see the newest additions to the light display.
Festival of Lights – Watkins Regional Park – Hosted by Prince George’s County Parks and Rec, come experience the drive through light display.
