Carroll to Hold No-Contact Shredding Event

On June 15, Carroll County will be hosting a no-contact shred event at the Westminster Senior and Community Center.

The Carroll County Bureau of Aging and Disabilities, Senior Medicare Patrol, and the Elder Abuse Prevention Program will host a shredding event in recognition of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. The event is free and open to adults 60+ years of age, as well as adults with disabilities 18+ years of age.

As the event is no-contact, individuals will stay in their car and pop the truck for volunteers to shred paper documents, bound books, spiral and plastic binds, X-rays, and CDs. There is no need to remove staples or paper clips.
