Register here to attend. See below for more information.

As the world grapples with how to deal with the novel coronavirus pandemic, we know that local governments are at the forefront of the response. Bloomberg Philanthropies announced the Coronavirus Local Response Initiative, which Johns Hopkins University is helping to lead, to provide virtual sessions geared toward mayors and cities’ senior crisis response teams. We know that local government policymakers also need support to lead through the crisis.

To meet this need, the Centers for Civic Impact invites you to a virtual conversation targeted toward local government policymakers about COVID-19 and local governments with Dr. Josh Sharfstein, Vice Dean for Public Health Practice and Community Engagement for the Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Dr. Sharfstein will provide an update on the epidemic and discuss key issues for cities in dealing with the crisis, including how and what governments should communicate with their residents. The discussion will include time for questions.

We encourage you to invite your colleagues who may be interested in attending by forwarding this invitation.

Join us on Monday, March 23 at 3 p.m. Eastern to hear live from an expert.
