As reported by FirstNet, the First Responder Network Authority, public safety communications in Baltimore County will have a critical upgrade in the launch of a “new, purpose-built cell site.”

Congressman Ruppersberger, former Baltimore County Executive and former MACo President, attended the launch. He stated,

“The launch of this new cell site, with more planned across the state, reaffirms that the FirstNet Authority and AT&T remain steadfast in their mission to deliver a solution that meets public safety’s needs – today and for decades to come. It’s a win for everyone,” he [Congressman Ruppersberger] added.
