Medical Cannabis Commission Meeting Relocated After Ellicott City Flood

The Medical Cannabis Commission has been forced to move it’s much-anticipated Friday meeting in the wake of last weekend’s flooding of Ellicott City. The meeting has been relocated from Ellicott City to Baltimore.

From The Baltimore Sun,

The commission is scheduled to select the top applicants to launch Maryland’s medical marijuana industry, but that decision will now take place at the University of Maryland School of Medicine instead of Howard County office buildings.

The commission will meet at 1 p.m. – an hour earlier than scheduled – in the Taylor Lecture Hall of the Bressler Research building at 655 W. Baltimore St.

The meeting will also be streamed live online, commission officials said Monday. A link will be available on the commission’s website later this week.
