The public comment period is now open for the Natalie M. LaPrade Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission proposed draft regulations for the Maryland Medical Cannabis Program. The regulations were published in the Maryland Register (beginning on page 812) on June 26, 2015. The 30 day public comment period will close on July 27, 2015.

Comments will be accepted through July 27, 2015. A public hearing has not been scheduled.
It is anticipated that the regulations will be adopted September 2015 and that the application period for growers, processors and dispensaries will begin once the rules are adopted.
