MACo recently received the annual report of the Department of Human Resources on local welfare-to-work programs.  MACo is among the parties connected to this ongoing effort, as one goal is to encourage local Departments of Social Service to pursue hiring of former benefit recipients into their workforce where practical.

The report documents efforts across each jurisdiction, and measures retention rates for placement by each.
