National Association of Counties (NACo) will hold a national cyber symposium on April 17-19, 2013 in Omaha, Nebraska.
Hosted by the University of Nebraska, Omaha and Peter Kiewit Institute, the Symposium will provide 1 ½ days of intensive, focused learning opportunities for local elected officials regarding cybersecurity.
NACo President, Chris Rogers has identified cybersecurity as a major initiative in his term. He has appointed a task force to educate NACo member counties about the scope of the problem and provide them with resources, information and programming to address the emerging threat.
