The National Association of Counties (NACo) will be hosting the Coastal Counties Forum: Building Resilient Coastal Ecosystems and Economies to discuss how coastal counties can take advantage of public and private resources to build resilient, sustainable ecosystems and economies.  The forum will include information and discussions on how counties can best utilize data, tools, partnerships and technical assistance to grow local economies and enhance coastal ecosystems. Maryland counties boarding the Chesapeake Bay or the Atlantic Ocean may find this conference to be particularly informative.

The forum will be held October 27-28 in Savannah, Georgia.  The cost of registration is $100 and NACo is offering a travel stipend that covers hotel accommodations for two elected officials or staff from each NACo member county.  The deadline to register is Friday, September 23rd.
