The Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) and the Homebuilders Association of Maryland (HBAM) are jointly sponsoring a growth conference, Where Do We Grow From Here?  Bay Friendly Development in the 21st Century,  on Wednesday, November 17 from 8:15 am to 3:00 pm at Martin’s West in Baltimore City.

Conference speakers include Maryland House of Delegates Speaker Mike Busch and Maryland Department of the Environment Secretary Shari Wilson.  Discussion topics include balancing development and the environment in the Chesapeake Bay, nutrient neutral development, homeowner responsibility for environmental stewardship, and infrastructure funding and priorities.

Normal registration is $95 a person but local governments and non-profits can register two people for the price of one by calling 410.265.7400 (ask for Jeff Tosi).  You must register by calling in order to receive the two-for-one special rate.
