6 Things You Should Do Before MACo’s Summer Conference

1. REGISTERWelcome to MACo SC
July 10 is the early registration deadline – rates increase on July 11, so register now for our lowest rates.

2. Book your Ocean City hotel room
Hotels book up early, but don’t worry – we’ve saved you a room…for now. Browse our discounted hotel room rate blocks and make your reservation today. If our blocks fill up or hit their expiration dates, rooms and rates can no longer be guaranteed.

3. Browse our Registration Brochure
Our brochure includes the conference schedule and session descriptions, so take a look and plan your days with us. We’re discussing how we can be proactive about our economy and leverage all of the services and partnerships at our disposal – be a part of that conversation!

4. Plan your carpool or bus route
Parking at the Convention Center is always difficult. PLEASE CARPOOL with coworkers, friends, or associates if you can. If carpooling isn’t an option, please consider taking the bus. The Town of Ocean City is allowing MACo’s conference participants to ride the city bus for FREE August 12-15. Conference participants just need to show their conference badge to the bus drivers. The Ocean City buses run conveniently every 10 minutes (approx.) and the Convention Center has a bus stop. Please read more about Ocean City public transit and the bus schedule.

5. Share your excitement on social media, #MACoCon
Follow us @MDCounties and use our hashtag #MACoCon on Twitter.

6. Get ready for our MACo Mobile App
If you downloaded the mobile app for our 2014 Summer Conference or 2015 Winter Conference, you’re all set! The 2015 Summer Conference information should be available on the app by July 15. Our mobile app, brought to you by Lead Sponsor Chesapeake Employers Insurance Company and has many great organizational and social features that are sure to put all of the conference information you need in the palm of your hand. Conference registrants, exhibitors, and sponsors should look for their mobile app email invitation on July 15.
