Two additional public meetings have been scheduled to allow for comment and questions regarding Maryland’s proposed growth offset policy under the State’s Phase II Watershed Implementation Plan (WIP). The offset policy would require a 100% nitrogen offset for certain kinds of new development. As previously reported on Conduit Street, a series of public meetings on the proposed growth offset policy have already been held throughout the state. The two additional meetings will take place:
- Southern Maryland: Thursday, September 13, at the College of Southern Maryland, Center for Business and Industry Building, BI Room 113E, 8730 Mitchell Road, La Plata, Maryland 20646. This meeting will begin at 1:30 pm and conclude at 4:00 pm. To register, use this link.
