Additional Meetings Scheduled for Maryland’s Proposed Growth Offset Policy

Two additional public meetings have been scheduled to allow for comment and questions regarding Maryland’s proposed growth offset policy under the State’s Phase II Watershed Implementation Plan (WIP).  The offset policy would require a 100% nitrogen offset for certain kinds of new development.  As previously reported on Conduit Street, a series of public meetings on the proposed growth offset policy have already been held throughout the state.  The two additional meetings will take place:

  • Metro DC Region:  Tuesday, September 18 at the Prince George’s County Soil Conservation District Office, 5301 Marlboro Race Track Road, Ste. 100, Upper Marlboro, Maryland 20772. This meeting will also begin at 1:30 pm and conclude at 4:00 pm. To register, use this link.
